As a statewide nonprofit coalition with over 500 dedicated members, TAPI is at the forefront of ensuring that Arizona’s children are protected against preventable diseases. Founded in 1993 in response to a critical need, when only 43% of Arizona’s two-year-olds were fully immunized, TAPI has made remarkable progress. Today, thanks to the tireless efforts of our public and private sector partners, nearly three in four children in Arizona are fully immunized by age two.
Our work is far from over. Babies are born in Arizona each year; the need for ongoing immunization advocacy, community awareness, and education remains crucial. TAPI is committed to promoting evidence-based health policies, raising vaccine awareness through free educational materials, and providing essential training for parents and healthcare providers. We also recognize and honor those making significant contributions to immunization efforts at our annual Big Shots for Arizona Awards Dinner.
Through our comprehensive programs and collaborative efforts, we strive to ensure every child in Arizona has a healthy start. Explore our initiatives, see the difference we’re making, and learn how you can join us in this vital mission to protect our children and communities.
Together, we can build a healthier future for Arizona.
