Older Adult
Immunizations
Moving into your older adult years brings many changes, but the need for vaccines does not change! The recommended vaccines can differ between children, adults, and older adults based on their health. We encourage you to talk to your doctor or healthcare provider about which vaccines are right for you.
Some of the vaccines that older adults often need:
- Yearly Influenza (Flu)
- Shingles
- COVID-19
- Pneumonia
- Tdap
- Hepatitis B
- RSV
Tips to Remember
- Keep going to your annual physicals and ask questions about vaccines.
- Get your yearly flu shot!
- If you are a new grandparent, make sure you are up to date on your whooping cough vaccine (Tdap).
- Always remember to wash your hands, cover your cough, and stay home when you are sick.
